Lunch Lady Brownies
If you're looking for a fun and delicious dessert to whip up for your family this week, you've got to try this brownie recipe. These lunch lady brownies are frosted and are SO absolutely divine. They only require a few ingredients that you probably already have on hand too!
Lunch Lady Brownies Ingredients:
For brownies –
- butter
- unsweetened cocoa powder
- flour
- sugar
- eggs
- vanilla extract
For frosting:
- butter
- milk
- unsweetened cocoa powder
- powdered sugar

How to make lunch lady sheet pan brownies:
Start by preheating your oven, and gathering your ingredients. Add in melted butter and cocoa powder to a bowl and blend until smooth. Add flour and sugar and mix together. Next add your eggs and vanilla until combined (the batter will be thick!).
Next, pour batter into a 9×13 baking dish and spread evenly. You'll want to bake your brownies 25 – 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand 15 minutes then add your frosting.
To make the frosting, add all your ingredients into a large bowl and mix until very smooth. Spread over your brownies and allow to cool completely before serving.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 4 tsps vanilla extract
Chocolate Frosting
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In the bowl of a stand-mixer, add melted butter and cocoa powder; blend until smooth.
- Add flour and sugar and beat together. Add eggs and vanilla until just combined. (Batter will be thick)
- Pour batter into a greased 13x9 inch baking dish and spread out evenly. Bake 25-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 15 minutes before frosting.
- For the frosting: In a large bowl, beat all frosting ingredients together until smooth. Spread over warm brownies. Let cool completely before cutting and serving.
How to store brownies:
If your brownies last long enough to be stored, keep them in an air-tight container for up to 4 days.
