Laughland Teeth Whitening Review

Jamie here! I don't have perfect teeth and I'm okay with that. They're getting pretty crooked up front and I am VERY prone to getting cavities – but I at least want them to be a nice pretty white (or close to it).

However I drink coffee ALL. DAY. LONG. – and then I end up drinking some Coke Zero in the evening. So my teeth inevitably gather some yellow/brownish-tinted stains. They're not terrible – but not great either.

A few years back I treated myself to a dentist-office teeth whitening procedure for my birthday and paid around $300. It was painful (I have very sensitive teeth), I was not very impressed with the results and they faded over time due to my coffee and coke drinking ways.

Are they the whitest teeth ever? No – but I think they look pretty darn good considering it just took 6 applications and I paid more than the current deal of only $2.95 shipped!

You'll find the box contains a whitening tray shaped like a mouth guard with a cord to plug it into your phone/tablet

It also contains 3 syringes that are prefilled with whitening gel. (That's enough for 6 days of treatments).

How To Use the Laughland Whitening Kit and Light:

Take out the whitening tray and uncap one of the syringes of whitening gel. If you want a more precise tip – you can screw on one of the pointed tips.
Dispense HALF of one syringe into the mouthpiece – divvying the gel up between the top and bottom rows of the tray as evenly as possible.
Place in your mouth and plug into your phone. Go about your day like normal, leaving the gel in for 5 minutes (minimum) – 30 minutes (max)
Remove and rinse mouth – avoid heavily dyed food or drinks for a few hours after.

My Experience:

I thought the Laughland kit was really easy to use. I left mine in for 30 minutes on the first day – determined to get the BEST results. Day 2-6 I left it in for 5 minutes to 15 minutes.

Sensitivity: I have very sensitive teeth. My teeth were slightly sensitive to cold water when I rinsed immediately afterwards – but once I realized that, I swished with lukewarm water instead and it was fine.

I didn't refrain from drinking my Coke Zero afterwards but I did wait a couple hours before I did.

I loved being able to walk around and do laundry or work at the computer while having the treatment, without being plugged in somewhere in my bathroom.

Conclusion:

I honestly thought this was good bang for the buck – easy to use – and I think I might order the refills a few times a year to repeat the process. I'll follow up to let you know how long my coffee-drinking self can keep the stains from coming back, but even my dentist told me there's really no way to keep that from happening. So I plan to repeat once in awhile!
