Kirkland’s Is Changing Its Name and Growing Its Brand Family
Big news is here! Kirkland’s Inc., a favorite destination for home décor lovers, is shaking things up in a major way. The company is rebranding itself as The Brand House Collective, Inc. — a fresh new name that perfectly captures their exciting plans to bring multiple beloved retail brands together under one roof.
This new identity isn’t just a name change; it marks the beginning of an ambitious transformation to become a powerhouse multi-brand retailer. The official name change is expected to happen after shareholder approval at the company’s annual meeting on July 24, 2025. So what's the scoop?? Keep reading!
What’s Happening?
Rather than focusing solely on Kirkland’s stores, The Brand House Collective will manage several well-known brands including Bed Bath & Beyond, Overstock, and buybuy Baby. This means you’ll see new store concepts popping up, and some Kirkland’s stores will transform into Bed Bath & Beyond Home locations.
The very first Bed Bath & Beyond Home store under this new plan is set to open in Brentwood, Tennessee, in August 2025, with more locations launching soon after in the Nashville area. If these new stores are a hit, the company plans to convert about 75 stores by 2026 — so keep your eyes peeled!
What About the Website?
Shopping just got easier! To create a smoother online experience, The Brand House Collective will merge the Kirkland’s Home website with Bed Bath & Beyond Home’s site. This means you’ll be able to browse both brands side-by-side, making it simple to find exactly what you need.
More Stores Coming Soon
The expansion doesn’t stop there! Along with the Bed Bath & Beyond Home stores, The Brand House Collective is gearing up to bring Overstock into the world of physical retail. They’re starting with a test store in Nashville, with plans to open around 30 locations if all goes well.
Plus, designs for buybuy Baby stores are in the works, and other exciting brand concepts might be on the horizon too.
Why Does This Matter?
This change is about more than just a new logo or name — it shows a bold new direction focused on giving shoppers more variety, better shopping experiences, and fresh new store concepts to explore.
By bringing together some of the biggest names in home and baby retail, The Brand House Collective is aiming to be a leader in the space — and that’s great news for all of us who love stylish home finds and family essentials.
What do you think of this change? We’d love to hear your thoughts!
