Jalynn’s Favorite Things
We’re kicking off a fun new series around here where we’ll be sharing some of our team members’ very favorite things! We always think it’s so fun to get a peek at the products, finds, and little extras that other people truly love and recommend.
A quick note before you dive in: these picks won’t always be the most frugal finds or on major sale. Some of them may definitely be a bit of a splurge, but they’re all items these ladies feel are absolutely worth it and genuinely use, love, and recommend. Our hope is that this series gives you a few new ideas, introduces you to some tried-and-true favorites, and maybe even helps you discover something you end up loving too!
Meet Jalynn!
I’m Jalynn! I’m living in Nashville, TN with my husband and our 2 guinea pigs (originally from Southern Illinois!). I love to read, visit local coffee shops, go to the movie theatre, and spend time at home or traveling with my husband.
Gap Factory Mid Rise Print Pull-On Barrel Jeans – I am OBSESSED with these jeans and have bought them in 3 colors so far! They are so comfortable because they have a stretchy, drawstring waistband, but still look and feel like jeans – perfect if you’re looking for something comfortable but cute for sitting at a desk all day. The barrel fit isn’t too dramatic or wide of a leg. Personally love the cheetah print for a simple but fun look.
Pink House Alchemy Coffee Syrup – THE best coffee syrup. It is a bit of a splurge, but I had been searching for a syrup that didn’t taste like artificial flavors. This company sources the best ingredients and makes the syrups in house in small batches. My favorite is vanilla bean and toasted caramel!
Stainless Steel Magnetic Stackable Measuring Spoons Set – These are my go to measuring spoons. They are magnetic and stack, making them easy to use and grab the one you need. I had used ones on a ring before and always found them tedious to get on and off while in the midst of cooking. I have the multicolor set and love the pretty pastel colors.
State Stamp Art Prints by Annalee Beck – I stumbled upon these beautiful watercolor stamp stamps on Instagram and was immediately in love. They are so sweet, thoughtful, and would make the cutest gifts. My husband and I are from different states and have landed in a brand new state, so this was a sweet way to commemorate where we came from and where we are now. Hoping to one day display these in frameless picture frames so you can really see the stamp edges.
Finery Perfume – Big fan of this perfume from Target! I have heard that this line of perfumes are all inspired by designer perfumes, but at an affordable cost. They have all of their scents in a body spray and perfume iteration. Midnight Cafe is my favorite scent.
Lenox Village Utensils Holder – I have been collecting the Lenox Spice Village collection items since 2020! While I prefer hunting down the vintage pieces, Lenox recently relaunched this collection and it is nice to be able to add some of the newer items to my collection. My recent buy was this utensil holder that I absolutely love and it even comes with a few utensils! Pretty way to add some color to your kitchen.
Downy Unstopables Unlimited Collection In Wash Laundry Scent Booster Beads – Obsessed with the scent of these booster beads! The No. 26 scent is rich, fresh, and smells luxurious – not your average laundry product type of scent. It smells so elevated and isn’t too overpowering. I am usually sensitive to intense fragrances and this hasn’t bothered me.
Lash Next Door Kindle Case – I really love my kindle case from Lash Next Door! They have so many cute options and are often coming out with new ones. My favorite part about the case is that it has both a kickstand and a hand strap so there’s different ways to use it and having a front cover on the case keeps your screen protected when throwing in your purse.
Garbie Erasable Pens – These pens are my favorite!! I love them so much I’ve been taking them as my favorite item/gift at “favorite thing exchange parties.” The best part is that they are erasable. In addition to PPP’s amazing pens, I use these in my PPP planner because dinner plans change, things need to move around, and having erasing capability without having to use a pencil is great. The happy colors brighten up your planner too.
