What is this book club about?
It's basically a monthly kids book club for early readers! 🙂
Each monthly book box contains five I Can Read! early reader books that are hand-selected to encourage a love of reading. The books are full of relatable stories, colorful illustrations, and exciting children's book characters that unlock the joy of reading and promote skill-building through practice.
Since the brand’s first book was published, I Can Read! has become a trusted early reader brand in the world of children's literacy. Kids have learned to read and fallen in love with classic characters like the Berenstain Bears, Little Critter, Amelia Bedelia, Biscuit, Pete the Cat, Pinkalicious, Lyle the Crocodile, and many others!
Choose from the following reading levels:
Earliest Reader – For readers who are just starting out. It combines a mix of I Can Read! My First and Level 1 books, which focus on shared reading and the first steps toward reading independence. Think basic language, word repetition, short sentences, simple concepts, and whimsical illustrations.
Emerging Readers – For readers who are starting to find reading independence, but who may need a little help. It combines a mix of I Can Read! Level 1 and Level 2 books, which focus on increasing reading ability. Think a mix of short and longer sentences, simple concepts and engaging stories, and even language play.
Established Readers – For fledgling readers who are achieving independence. It combines a mix of I Can Read! Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 books, which focus on developing deep engagement. Think longer sentences, engaging stories and complex plots, increasingly challenging vocabulary, and high-interest topics.
