I bought this as a gift for my husband for our 8th anniversary (the ‘pottery’ anniversary). It turned out to be a fun afternoon and I am incredibly impressed at how it turned out! A couple things to save someone else some trouble: initially, we put our hands in the mix and after 10 minutes it wasn’t setting. I finally started digging around in the bucket and realized we hadn’t gone a good job mixing as all the alginate had settled to the bottom.
We mixed it with our hands and then it set perfectly. Second, while I did eventually get all of the stuff out of my ring it was quite difficult. I’m not entirely certain I would wear my ring again. I would 100% purchase this again and I’d recommend as a sweet, sentimental gift.
