Here's what we grabbed at Publix this week for $30.59 including tax, while saving $72 (little Ms. Reagan refused to move while I took the picture!)
Â
At the checkout my total was only $36 pre-coupon, so I grabbed extra Doritos to use my $5 off $40 coupon that Kroger recently mailed out! (I never buy chips, so my husband will be thrilled!) The meat manager also let me know that she marked down the ham from over $72 to just $10, so we'll have enough ham to last us through the next year :), and hopefully can share some with a few friends!Â
Â
And here's what we're donating this week (the larger cans of tomatoes and Advil were purchased during last week's sale):Â
My little girl was so cute as I was moving things to the donation pile. She asked “Momma, can we please keep dose (those) stawberries? I yike strawberries so maybe we can keep dem (them) and give away some udder (other) stuff.” (I know any of you mommas out there understand those words completely!)

Cindy Waddill says
I spent $28.57 at Publix used a total of $29.08 in coupons and received back .51 cents in change after argue that they were not supposed to give me change back from overage in coupons. I used the overage from my mentos to pay the balance of the other groceries, but had coupons for everything anyway. Purchases are 3 boxes Kelloges fruit crisps, 2 Uncle Ben’s Brown Rice, a $4 pack of ground beef, 2 bottle Resolve laundry spray, Publix tortilla chips, and 18 Mento rolls. Did not know how to upload a photo.
Debbie says
do you know if there were a lot of hams marked down?
Laurie says
There were only four and when she told me everyone else ran over to grab them! Sorry Debbie!
Jennifer Driggers says
The Publix on Winchester Rd. and Highway 231-431 north both take Target and Kroger coupons.
Laurie says
Thanks Jennifer! Does anyone know if they take Earthfare?
Dana says
I never knew what “All You” was until I clicked on your link. It seems there are LOTS of coupons in there. Am I right? I would always see it on iheartpublix.com but I thought it was some kind of Publix publication that I had been missing. Should I subscribe to All You?
Laurie says
I actually don’t subscribe to All You, however there are lost of coupons that come through it. You can purchase them each month at Walmart for $1.99, so you may want to try that before you buy and see what you think. Every once in a while (not often!) there’s a better sale on All You than the Amazon price, but it’s one of those magazines that doesn’t often go on sale, and really never at a huge discount! Hope that helps! (And as far as I know Walmart is the only store that carries it, but it might be worth getting one to help you decide!)
Dana says
Question, Do all the Publix stores in North AL take Target Market Pantry coupons on Publix brand items(like your ice cream deal)? I have never tried this. I understand that my Publix does take Target coupons for the store items like deli or bakery, etc.
I got the free cereal too, but can’t donate b/c we love it!
Dana
Laurie says
Hi Dana! I’m not sure if all of the stores do, but I know County Line & Hwy 20 definitely accept those. Definitely ask your store, because most of them will accept them!
My hubby wouldn’t even try the cereal, so it’s heading off to the donation pile!
Rose says
We got two boxes of crunchy nut cereal and two boxes of pasta for free!!!
Laurie says
Great job Rose!
