3/1 Update: I ended up losing 4.5 pounds and now am READY to stay on track in March (we’re using our Low Carb meals again this month, and so many folks have agreed with me that these might be our most favorful recipes ever!) I’ve seen dozens of people share that they’ve lost 5-10 pounds+ this month who’ve joined us too (success!) If you’re ready to eat nutritious, low-carb & high-protein meals at home, the Low Carb Meal Planning Box was made just for you!

2/14 Update: We’ve been in now for two weeks and I’m down about 4 pounds (I think because I was definitely up after the holidays in January!) Yesterday when I did a Facebook Live we had FOUR people share that they were down 5-10 pounds ALREADY using Low Carb and cooking at home this month ~ WOOHOOO! It’s not too late to join the challenge today if you’re READY for some changes. Let’s do this ~ together!

I am soooooo excited about this crazy new challenge we’re about to start (I’m hoping it’ll become our winter version of Crocktober?)

Join me starting February 1st for our Foodie February Challenge!

We just launched our new Low Carb Meal Plans, and here’s what I’m so excited about:

EASY, nutritious, protein-packed-and-good-for-you, dinnertime WINS.

You know that feeling when you see all the cute influencers on Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook making gorgeous, healthy meals, and  think, “I want to be like that!”

But then reality hits, and you’re racing to Chick-fil-A at 6PM because meal planning and grocery shopping feel almost impossible?

Or when you realize you just spent $200 on takeout this week and nothing to show for it, except a little regret and way less moo-lah?

I get it. I’ve been there too.

That’s why Foodie February is all about bringing dinnertime back home.

Here’s what I’m committing to this month (starting THIS Sunday, February 1st):

  • Cook our Low-Carb Meals through February making Weeks 1-4 (all 12 weeks are on sale today!)
  • Skip the drive-thru & delivery apps – my goal is eating out no more than 2x per week
  • Save money for things I actually want (not overpriced takeout that I forget about in 10 minutes)
  • Reclaim dinnertime – more actual meals at home at our table, with family

BONUS: here’s the honest truth . . .

If you’ve hung out here long at all, you know that I’ve seen a whole lot of sizes over these last 50 (eek!) years. 🙂 About 10 years ago I got my act together and got down to a healthy weight for me (I’m 5’7″ and like to stay around 145, after seeing a scale as high as 225, I’ll take 145 every day!)

But over the last year, I noticed my weight shifting (and my cholesterol creeping up), so I made three simple shifts:

  1. I swapped coffee creamer for skim milk and sugar-free syrup
  2. I started a new breakfast routine: 1/4 cup egg whites + low carb tortilla + 1 wedge laughing cow cheese + spinach + 1/4 cup cottage cheese + EBTB seasoning
  3. I’ve aimed for 100 grams of protein each day (that breakfast alone, along with 1 cup of skim milk frothed in 2 cups of coffee in the morning, gets me around 34grams of protein – success!

What totally surprised me though, is when having my body weight measured for an Orange Theory challenge I’m doing, my percentage of body fat had decreased by 3% to from 27% to 24% body fat (the lowest I’ve ever been?) and my muscle mass increased by FIVE POUNDS at age 50.

It turns out that increasing protein with meals like those in the Low Carb Menu Plans Pack really can make a difference.

So eating well at home? It’s good for your waistline AND your wallet. YAYYYYY!

If you’re like me and are ready to:

  • Stop wasting money on disappointing takeout
  • Actually cook yummy, healthy meals that taste good and look fancy, like the ones you see online.
  • Have dinnertime wins without the stress
  • Maybe lose a few pounds as a bonus?

This challenge is for you.

Here’s how to join the Foodie February Challenge with me:

  1. Commit to making a menu plan starting Sunday, February 1st – Our Low Carb Meals are PERFECTION if you want protein-packed, nutritious, and truly delicious food.
  2. Grocery shop & stick to a budget – The Grocery by PPP membership has been a game-changer for me and literally thousands of families. Pick your recipes from over 800 meals, add to cart, and choose delivery or pickup in under 1 minute. (The new In-Store Shopping Mode? AMAZING for stopping on the way home from work – you’ll have your meals chosen, grocery list made in order of store, and can check off your list in 3 minutess flat!
  3. SKIP DoorDash, drive-thru & delivery.
  4. Set YOUR goals. Maybe you want to save $200 this month. Maybe you want 20 home-cooked dinners, or maybe you’d love to lose 5 pounds or just see how you and your family feels after eating more real food at home. You decide what success looks like for YOU this month, and I’ll be over here cheering you on all the way!
  5. Enter the Great Grocery Giveaway DAILY – We’re giving away $5,000 in groceries in February!

I can’t promise we’ll all lose 5 pounds together (although I’m sure gonna try!)

But I CAN promise that using these recipes and Grocery by PPP will give you dinnertime wins, money in your pocket, and food you actually feel good about eating.

YOU AND I ARE SO WORTH IT.

Let’s do Foodie February together, okay?

Laurie

I just finished your Grocery Savings Workshop. I want to know if you can modify the meal serving size for each meal. There are somethings which my husband will not eat, but I want to eat.

Second question, is this “meal plans” or “recipes for the different types of food (such as meat, vegetable, salad, desert)?”

It appeared that when the grocery list was sent to Walmart that if you made a change in what had been sent to Walmart for the order, it did not return to your site to re-evaluate the items that were needed at Walmart. Is that a correct observation? (This was an issue which I had with emeals, it kept returning to their application and recalculating everything. I had to exit their system and had to do some work arounds to accomplish the changes I wanted to make.)

Thank you for pronouncing my first name correctly. So many people pronounce it differently than how I do. As a result, I typically use the nickname “Bea.”

    • Alice -PPP Team says

Hi Beatrice! Thank you so much for watching our workshop. I hope that you found it helpful! To answer your questions…in Grocery by PPP, you can increase the servings but not decrease. However, you can always save half or freeze for later. (I usually freeze my leftovers in individual servings, especially if it’s something that my husband will not eat). Second question…most are meals plans (except for the Sides Box). Each box includes 12 weeks of meals plans and grocery lists. Each weekly menu plan includes 5 main dish recipes and 1 dessert. Our Celebration Box has 12 different themed menus for entertaining and holidays so each one will include the main dish, sides and dessert. You will love it! (I’ll add the link below to our shop so you can see what each box offers). For the 3rd question, when you make any changes to your shopping list, it should automatically apply when the order is sent to Walmart. Hope I answered all your questions! Always feel free to email us at grocery@passionatepennypincher.com so we can better address any questions or concerns. We’re happy to help! 🙂 https://shop.passionatepennypincher.com/collections/menu-plan-packs-2

  3. GinaJo Sedlak says

I am in. Goal to choose more healthy snacks, even if I have to make them. Picking fresh fruit instead of sugary filled dessert. Measure serving and put rest away so I don’t keep snacking.

  4. Jeannée says

So glad you finally came out with a low-catb option! I’ve been wrong this way consistently for over 10 years, but could never really try your meal plans because they didn’t fit in with my way of eating. So glad to finally give it a shot! Hoping to find some really quick and easy meals in the low carb box!

I’m in for the February Challenge to exercise and eat healthy this month. Have a trip planned for end of Feb/March and would love to lose 6-8 pounds before we leave. Bought the low carb digital download, will be starting this week with a 5 day cleanse and will jump into using the menus after. Want to exercise by walking 30 min per day Mon-Fri and do my physical therapy exercises for my legs daily. Can’t wait to try some new menus! I’ve lost 20pounds since Oct 2024 and would love to lose 30 more. This is the first year for using the PPP planner as well and love how tidy and comforting my home looks as I do the declutter challenge and cleaning tasks outlined in the planner. Thanks for encouraging us to balance our lives in physically, spiritually and mentally positive ways.

  17. Amy says
