It's a bit of a slow week at CVS starting Sunday, but there are a few items worth swinging by CVS for (especially if you have some Extra Care Bucks to roll.) Here's my top scenario of the week:
Transaction #1
Buy 4 Colgate Toothpastes $2
Buy 1 Hershey's Simple Pleasures $.67
- Use (4) $1/1 Colgate coupons from the 8/26 Smart Source insert
- Pay $4.67 out of pocket, get $4.67 ECBs
Transaction #2
Buy 2 Right Guard 6 Pack Bar Soaps $3
Buy 2 Dove Singles $1.19 (Get second at $.25)
- Use $2/2 Right Guard Deodorants
- Use $.50/2 Dove Singles
- Use $4 ECBs from Transaction #1
- Pay $.94 out of pocket, get $2 ECBs
So you'll pay a whopping $3.61 for all nine items . . . including 12 bars of soap ~ while it's a bit of a slow week, those deals aren't too bad! I'm betting the deals on the Gillette Razors will also be worth keeping an eye out for, but wanted to double check the pricing before including them in the scenario. If you find any great deals while you shop CVS, please leave a comment to share.

Curious why the “Buy $25, get $10 ECB for Charmin toilet paper” isn’t a top deal…I usually don’t see those kinds of deals listed as the best deals — is there something I’m missing?

If you have ECBs to use it’s not too a bad deal…. but probably not the best deal ever on P&G Products ~ does that make sense?
