Ever heard of the Bug Bite Thing? It might be a game changer for your backyard enjoyment this Summer… If you're always the one in the group who manages to attract the mosquitos – or you seem to react to insect bites more than most – you might want to give this Bug Bite Thing a spin!
Amazon has it for under $10 – and according to many reviewers it's a MUST-HAVE item for their medicine cabinet. PPP team member Mary says her hubby uses this to lessen the aftermath of insect bites – whereas he normally swells up with big welts. Many reviewers go on to say that sucking the venom out with the “bug bite thing” makes the itch go away COMPLETELY – and even removes wasp and fire ant venom!
Here's how it works:
- The bug bite thing is a suction tool that extracts the vemon/saliva left behind under the skin to reduce swelling, itching and stinging from insect bites and stings.
- Use immediately after a bite/sting by positioning the suction side over the bite and pull up on the plunger slowly
- Choose the big or small side of the cap according to the bite size
- Hold in place for 10-20 seconds. Repeat 2-3 times on a fresh bite.
- Use the stinger scraper to remove stingers
This reviewer said her 18 month old swells up horribly with mosquito bites, but as long as she uses the bug bite thing quickly it goes away almost right away!
I am one of those people who swells up a silver dollar size welt from mosquito bites and they just love me– like, I am the ultimate mosquito magnet and having me around will protect anyone else outside with me, gah!!! I found the Bug Bite Thing in 2018 and it is the BEST thing ever! SO much better for quick relief than any kind of cream, etc, and the most wonderful part is no itching for a week, or even the day after! AMAZING!!! I have one in the backyard, in my med cabinet, in my car, in my purse, and I have bought them for everyone in my family.
Omgosh me too! I have gone to my local urgent care several times over the past few years due to mosquito bites that get incredibly large, HOT, red, itchy, painful, and even infected near joints like my elbow and knee. They’ve had to put me on a combo of oral steroids and antibiotics! I’ve tried Citronella bracelets, but which help a little, but I would love the peace of mind of having this if/when it actually happens! Thank you for your review/comment! I am gonna get this asap!!
