Since grocery prices have skyrocketed, I have gone back to filling my hungry teenagers’ bellies with some lower-cost carbs (potatoes, brown rice, whole-wheat pasta, etc.). We still have plenty of greens and lean meat at dinner but this helps deter an all-out brawl over the last pork chop. This snap-on strainer is great! It holds tight and has fit every size of pot I tried in on, from the smallest to the largest. It takes up a lot less space in the dishwasher than a traditional strainer. Even when weighed down with potatoes or a pound of pasta, it holds strong and doesn’t drop any of it into the sink.

This is such a little thing, but once people put dirty things into a clean dishwasher, you have to re-wash it. This solves that (as long as people look and turn it).
