Each morning when I look over my day as I sip my coffee (um, I'll be honest. I'm *always* racing. So I pretty much gulp down my coffee), I've started stopping to take a deep breath and read my scripture before I start my work day.
I choose one verse, write it down in my planner if there's room, then scoot along to the rest of my to do list.
It's been grounding for me ~ and since I leave my bible open right there, there's no hassle to push me off track when I begin each day.
Set yourself up for success when you can. Make the most important things in your day also the simplest things.
I'd love to hear your tips and what you do to make those little things easier ~ for me this has become a few minutes I crave most each day, and maybe you just need that time too. I'm cheering for you!
