Amazon Mother of the Bride/Groom Dress
If you're looking for a great Mother of the Bride or Mother of the Groom Dress – I have a good recommendation for you! I was Mother of the Groom this past weekend and I was sooooooo relieved to find this dress on Amazon at my first attempt.
The theme was Black & Champagne at this wedding – so all I needed was a black dress that was modest, flattering, and didn't require Spanx underneath. SCORE! Plus this Mother of the Groom/Bridee Dress was MUCH less than the ones I found at Belk and other department store in the “old lady formals” section (Some of those were $300 – $400!)
It ALSO comes in Plus Sizes from 14 – 34 and gets great reviews. I was sold when I saw that the flutter sleeves would camouflage my flappy arms, but even MORE sold when I realized I could wear a regular bra with it and no Spanx were required.

This Flutter Sleeve Dress is under $60 in select colors – I got the Lilac because the theme was “Garden Party” and pastel colors were preferred by the bride. I also added this Beaded Bridal Belt to the middle (See below) because it felt like it needed a little bit of bling. My friend Jenny Tacked it to the fabric in several places so the weight of the beading didn't drag the belt southward while I was wearing it 😉
Sizes go from Small – XXL in this dress and it gets great reviews!
