If you love emotional, can’t-put-it-down historical fiction, I highly recommend The Nightingale if you haven’t read it yet. Such a powerful story! I also really loved The Happiest Man on Earth. Next up on my reading list: The Women and Theo of Golden—both come highly recommended!

I’ve read SO many good books this past year, but these really stood out to me:
- The God of the Woods
- Is She Really Going Out with Him?
- Say You’ll Remember Me
- Nora Goes Off Script
- Relaxed: Walking with the One Who Is Not Worried About a Thing
- Awake
- I Want to Trust You, But I Don’t

The Women is such a great read—I really enjoyed it! I’m currently reading The Correspondent and so far, I’m loving it. I also highly recommend Theo of Golden and Becoming Mrs. Lewis—both were favorites.

I just started The Wedding Game by Meghan Quinn and it’s already pulling me in! I recently finished Untying the Knot by her too, and it was really good—perfect if you’re in the mood for a fun, engaging read.

My husband and I have been hooked on the Apple TV series Silo since it came out, so I finally started reading the books—and I’m officially hooked! If you love dystopian stories with lots of twists, these are hard to put down.
Michelle –
I just finished How to Read a Book and really liked it. I also loved Let Them by Mel Robbins—such a great mindset shift. Honestly, I wish I had learned that lesson 30 years ago! I also really enjoyed Remarkably Bright Creatures, which was such a heartwarming and memorable read.
Jamie –
I’m currently reading Wild Reverence, and it’s a fantastic fantasy with great world-building (and not spicy!). I’ve also read EVERYTHING by Jane Healey—if you enjoy wartime historical fiction, The Beantown Girls is excellent.

The Housemaid was good and the movie just came out. Haven’t seen it yet but I loved the book. Reading The Frozen River right now. It’s historical fiction and it’s good too.
Just finished Broken Country and I loved it so much! About to read Hail Mary, which is also a new movie.
And lastly, Atmosphere was incredible!!
Thanks for chiming in with some of your favorites!
-A Gentleman in Moscow is singularly one of THE best books written in our time. Hopefully no one has seen the movie first because as all bibliophiles know, “The book is always better.”
– Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano- I fell upon this book series and enjoyed it so much.
-The Correspondent IS really good so be sure to follow through and read it.
-The Thursday Murder Club-This was turned into a movie and they DRASTICALLY changed the ending. So very disappointing…
Thanks so much for chiming in with some of your favorite books! 🙂
