Target Babyfood Recall

Target recently recalled some of it’s Good & Gather line of baby food due to elevated lead levels, according to the FDA.  On March 12th, 25,600 packages of Good & Gather Baby Peas, Zucchini, Kale and Thyme Veggie Purees were recalled voluntarily.  On April 3rd the recall was elevated to a Class II, which is more serious.  A Class II recall means that “use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote”.
