Capri Sun Recall – Check Your Fridge!

Bad news if you’ve been prepping to pack your kids lunchboxes with Capri Sun!

On August 12th, the Kraft Heinz company announced some disturbing news and called for a voluntary recall of Capri Suns.

In the press release they said that due to customers complaining about a weird taste – they looked into the matter and discovered that a diluted CLEANING SOLUTION used on food processing equipment was accidentally mixed in with a batch of Capri Sun.

But don’t panic!  No one has yet been made sick from the mixup – and not all flavors were affected.  Here’s what you need to know:

• ONLY Wild Cherry flavor has been recalled
• Check your package for a “Best By” date of June 15, 2023 and a UPC of 0-8768400100-4
• 5760 Cases were recalled
• No illnesses have been reported
