Good. ness. Have I told you lately clipping coupons is worth it? Oh my stars, it just is! 😉

(Remember we’re in the midst of our No Spend Challenge right now, so I didn’t have much to spend ~ but I couldn’t possibly beat these deals this week!)

A few days ago my friend Shannon and I were talking about how much we love to save, and how we’ve struggled some recently as we get quite a bit of interaction on the online deals that we post (and usually cost money), but only teeny-tiny bits of feedback on some pretty amazing coupon deals.

Because we tend to gauge how interested people are in our posts by how much traffic we get from social media (which for us is mostly via Facebook), we sometimes feel a little frustrated that we work so hard (especially Shannon!) to absolutely shower you with coupon deals when a lot of people just don’t click through see all the fantastic bargains we have here.

Now, don’t get me wrong . . . we love online deals too (as I’ve shared before, it’s one of the main reason this whole blogging things works!), but we so want you to really see all these fantastic deals that we share every single day! We share oodles of deals for Kroger, and Publix, and Target, and CVS, and Walgreens, and more than a dozen of other stores . . . tons of ways to make it easy for you to save, and we would just love folks to get excited about those too!

When I can score deodorant in my mailbox for $.34 (that happened from Amazon just a few weeks ago!) I’m probably going after that deal first, but there are easy ways to save just about everywhere.

Don’t believe clipping coupons is worth it? Let me just prove you wrong with my little shopping trip today. 🙂

Yes.

Clipping coupons takes work.

Yes.

It’s not easy.

But worth it????

Clearly.

There is no other area in your family’s budget that you have complete control over, so choose to take just a few minutes to check out the deal at your favorite store, and see if you can’t do some big time saving too. Woohoooo! 😉

I don’t shop online AT ALL, so your store coupon deals are what brings me to your site. If it makes you feel any better, I do click through your coupons.com when I need something there.

Thank you so much for sharing Jennifer – I appreciate that so much! That just helps us know it’s worth it for some folks out there – I do shop online quite a bit, but there are so many good instore savings I don’t want to miss!

Thank you all so much for what you do. I am a working mom of 5 and my hubby and I were just talking about coupons and what savings you can get with them. He use to tease me about my couponing. See my check pays rent and groceries. Until he started seeing my stock pile grow and grow. He had no idea how much I was saving. Until I went out and bought a new sectional and did not use a tax return check to buy it. He then wanted to see what I was spending so he has been coming with me. Last week I handed him 74.00 in coupons and he is like yea but what are you spending…..well final bill was 52.04. I cannot thank you girls keep doing what you do. You MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Thank you for your encouraging words Sara – that means a ton to us! I’m so excited that you’re able to save so much (and prove your husband wrong.) 🙂 I appreciate you taking the time to comment and so so so glad it helps!

  3. Annissa says

Thanks for all your hard work! I started using coupons a couple of years ago out of necessity. My husband had become disabled and has had 6 surgeries in the past 3 years with one more to come. If I had not discovered coupons, I don’t know how we would have survived. Thanks again!

    • Laurie says

So glad it helps Annissa – that’s so good to hear! I think we sometimes aren’t sure how beneficial they are when it feels from this side of the screen like people enjoy online deals more (which really is fine!), we just want to remind people that there really are awesome deals with coupons. Thank you so much for letting us know it helps you!
