Target Gift Card Deal

Okie dokie, I’m so stinkin’ excited about this deal that I could hardly get through my other posts this morning to share it! Believe it or not (I was shocked!), the Target deals really do  work, and there are some incredible deals to grab! These were found in the very back of my store in the “stock up” area, and while the sign says free $5 gift card when you purchase 3, it’s actually giving you one when you purchase each one. (It said one in the original ad that came out Sunday, and seems to be working.)

In case you’re not sure what to roll those gift cards towards, don’t forget that Target has their Frozen Boneless Skinles Chicken Breast on sale for $4.99/2.5 lbs., and you can use

I always have issues with Targets promos. Sometimes the clerk will give them to me anyway when I point out the add and sometimes even when I take a photograph of the promotional sign they still will not gig me the gift cards. I have learned not to trust their promotions or to make sure I watch as they go through and stop the clerk if the promo does not go through.

Oh, no matter how often I brush my teeth, and any pasta I have used my teeth were not as white as it should and that bothered me wrong. I always had to be careful when smiling in front of important people that I felt lack of confidence. We found an excellent product in the form of gel pen and I decided to try especially was not expensive. Now yes, I'm happy with my teeth white very bright and trust in me is huge. If anyone else is experiencing my problem recommend Idol White. I've bought it at the address below, are very serious:

I went to the Target in Madison and the Target on University near Research Park Blvd and couldn’t find any of these deals. 🙁 I did find two pack of clorox spray cleaner on clearance for $4.34 (?) and a few high priced items with $5 target cards, but that’s all. Sadness! I’m out of toothbrushes and only have one tube of toothpaste left…

I was sad today went to target to pick up these items and only the listerine worked! I asked the manager about it and they said that different stores have different promos. Also the wipes were huggies at my store and I didn’t have the coupon for those….ugh!

    • Laurie says

It was on really specific items Lyiah – I wonder if maybe they were just out of those sizes (they were so strange, some worked and a few didn’t for me, but it was so hard to figure out which ones!) Ours were only in a very specific area of the store (not with the toothpaste like you’d expect) and I know a friend of mine was able to grab hers today. I feel horrible that it didn’t work for you!

  6. Jessica says

Disappointed tonight at Target… They either didn’t carry any of the toothpaste, or they pulled it from shelves or something. Couldn’t find the 3pks of toothpaste anywhere, or the four packs of toothbrushes. I did check in the seasonal stuff at the back of the store, too. Confused, I asked for help, and the target guy wasn’t very helpful… Said “I know where the toothpaste is, it’s in the toothpaste aisle” and he had no clue what I was talking about in the ad. And it was in my local ad… But I did pick up the inexpensive chicken and a few other things.

    • Laurie says

Ugh Jessica – I’m so sorry! At my store they had maybe one of the items in the toothpaste aisle, but the rest were in a separate area entirely (and there were tons.) I really just happened to luck into finding it, but know that it wasn’t easy to find at all. I really hope your store didn’t have it in just a weird spot! (I went to two Targets yesterday and one had it towards the front in an area that said “gift card” promotions. Ugh!

      • Mary says

I KNEW that was you and your precious little girl! I didn’t want to embarrass myself and ask if it was you. You and I both were a long way from home! My son had a Doctor’s appointment in Huntsville and I was thrilled when he asked if we could “run by” Target. I didn’t take my coupons in and they didn’t have the 3D White packs I wanted anyways, so I skipped the deals. I am sure you saw me as we made eye contact. I was in scrubs-pink pants with a cream floral top and had my hair up and was carrying some nifty galvanized metal salt/pepper shakers. You were looking at your coupons and getting toothpaste. That is too funny!

        • Laurie says

How funny! I soooooo wish you’d said something – I do remember seeing you!!! (I always embarrass myself, so I’d be perfect company.) 🙂 I can’t believe you didn’t get any of it – even without coupons they were such good deals! My daughter takes gymnastics over in Hunsville, so we’re there 3 days a week and I do a lot of my shopping on that end of town (if you’re ever there, check out the Kroger on Drake and the CVS & Walgreens on Bob Wallace – they always have everything in stock!)

          Next time, say something!!!! 🙂

  7. candie says

i think you can do one transaction, get the $5 gift card, then use the $5 gift card on the next transaction, so you only spend $5 out of pocket for everything. then you would end up with one $5 gift card. i did that once before on a different gift card promotion. in fact the store clerk is the one that suggested i do that

  8. Alma Parks says

Target is unfamiliar territory for me considering it is a long drive for the gas. I was wondering if you know their coupon policy or where can I find it? Do they stack, double, or payout overage?

    • Laurie says

Just saw this this morning Alma! Basically, they don’t double coupons but you can stack Target store coupons with manufacturer coupons. They don’t give overage, and *most* stores only allow one Target coupon on a specific item per transaction. Hope that helps (some!)

  9. Magen Lindsey Gilmore says

So did you split up everything you bought into different purchases so you could use some of the gift cards or did you do it as one big purchase and get several gift cards back for next time?

    • Laurie says

I bought everything in one transaction, and then used the gift cards to buy a teacher appreciation gift I needed for my kids. Each time an item rang up, the screen told the cashier to give me a gift card. Hope that helps!

      • Magen says

Yes, that helps, thanks! Good idea to use the gift cards for teacher gifts.
I love Target, especially since everytime I use my Target card, I save an additional 5%!!!!
