  1. Check out the price per square foot on wrapping paper. It’s often cheaper at big box stores, and you don’t have to mess with a ton of small rolls. I like to stock up when it’s on sale after Christmas.

The rest of this stuff is the reason I shouldn’t be allowed near a Dollar Tree around the holidays. I LOVE Christmas and there is so much fun stuff there that I can rationalize buying because it’s so cheap. I want it all!

  2. Also, in my office, they collect for the homeless shelter at Christmas. This is a great place to pick up small packs of tissues, hand sanitizer, toothbrushes (I like to get cases, too), pill cases, and things like that.

  3. I think buying paper at a craft place after Christmas saves money. The paper at$Tree is thin and rips to easy. I prefer a heavier easy paper to use.

  4. I LOVE Dollar tree and shop there weekly at the least!!
But please dont buy dog treats there! They are made in china or are unregulated for nutrition and safety, and just plain bad for dogs!
Spend a little more to get something nutritious for your fur babies, or cook tjem some unseasoned chicken and cut it into bite sized pieces for treats, or cook carrots slightly & fref them those. Dogs love them and their healthy 🙂

Thanks for the good tip about the carrots for my dogs. I agree about anything to feed your dog or cat that comes from China. I always looks where ever I buy dog food items to make sure it does not come from China.

  6. Dollar Tree wrapping paper is garbage.

  7. The wrapping paper this year is a lot better. In past years I would totally agree about the quality but the plaid Christmas paper I just bought and used was just like anything I’d get from a regular store. Do I dare hope that all of it is better this time? Time will tell.

  8. I love to shop at DT too! I used a lot of baby products for myself and it works as great for a dollar as well as the big ticket price at the other stores. I also like to buy a few of my kitchen stuff there. I do not buy my dogs or cats anything there except for may be a leash or collar. I don’t even buy toys for my fur babies there.
