Cleaning out and redecorating my sons room into a guest room. Oldest daughter went to college, gave the youngest his room…she came back (with a degree)…took over the middle ones room who is now off to college…figure it is time to take the “sports border” off of the boys original room (he is now 14)…not the easiest job…all the while now in my second week of “couponing” thanks to my girlfirends at Bible study who insisted I would save money…..and YES YOU WERE RIGHT STACI!!!!!!!!! Anyhoo, I am tired, but cleaning, peeling and painting…that might be more than you wanted…but it is the TRUTH!!HAHA

The area I have cluttered that needs to be organized are my photos. I have over 1000 photos to download & organize since mid-summer.UGH! I love taking photos, but hate downloading & organizing them. It’s become an overwhelming task & seems to get bigger each week. I plan on making a photo book (I’ve already bought the $100 Groupon to Picaboo for $25 in order to do this) of my youngest son’s 1st year & give it as a Christmas gifts to family. So, this challenge has come at the perfect time for me because I really need to tackle this project of mine! Thanks for the jump start!!

well, we are cluttery so there are lots of places to clean in my house. But my husband wants to do a project in the laundry room so i think that’ll be the place.
I have very limited space in my kitchen (it’s VERY tiny!), and for some reason, I continually use one counter as a catch-all. I can clean it off but within a few days, it’s covered again. It has everything from spare change to pens to cookbooks to coupons to mail to folded clothes that I swear I am going to put away every time I pass by it but never seem to actually grab it. So, that is the one area that needs a major clean up!
We’re working on it right now because we’re moving to our first house soon! The worst area for me is our office- too many papers and little organization!

My guest room isn’t a guest room it’s a junk room. There are still Christmas decorations out! No reason to put them up now!!! But, it could definately use a major overhaul.
I am a new couponer since July. I have been stock-piling and am overwhelmed at my pantry. Unfortunately I am disbled and on dialysis so people usually put my groceries up for me and it is so scarry for me to go into my pantry, things fall from everywhere when i pull something out. So yesterday I began the daunting task of starting to organize. I spent 3 hours took a chair and sat in there. I only organized two shelves. (I have six). I am going to try this 15 minutes a day until it is done. This is a great idea. I love the penny pincher web-site.
My bedroom closet and laundry room look horrible. Since returning back to school and our Colombia trip…. I need a day OFF to organize that mess.

I need to clean out our master closet…it has tons of clothes (old work, maternity, etc) that need to be donated. Definitely a big mess!!

I so need to clean out my closet. My problem is, I work full time and have a 21 month old. My hubby is amazing but he would never tackle our closet nor would I want him too. However, I have avoided my closet like it has the plague. Your idea of breaking it down into smaller bits is a wonderful idea. I am going home to tackle it in 15 -20 minute increments everyday until done. It may take me a month! LOL. But a great way of doing it. This way, it will not take away from the little time I get every evening with my son and hubby. Thanks so much for all you guys do.

Major cleaning? Hmm, that would be our garage…yep, garage.
My stockpile needs cleaning, reorganizing, and REDUCING…waaaay too much. With Thanksgiving coming upon us really quick, great sales/coupons coming up for the holidays, then it’s time to do a MAJOR DONATION run. That’s my goal for this week.
My Master bedroom is the dump site for everything including overflow pantry items. It’s also my sewing room that is filled with several projects that need to be done for Christmas gifts.

The pool table seems to accumulate things on its own so right now, it is just a giant black hole of stuff….things to donate, things to consign, some things for my pg sister, and the many boxes of things that belong to the triplets…toys, old clothes, stuff to save. 🙁
