I feel incredibly honored to have a guest post up over on Blogelina.com, sharing a few tips that I’ve figured out during the last 2 1/2 years of blogging.  (Even though I’m not quite sure I’ve figured it out yet!)  Here’s a snippet . . .

I started blogging on a whim back in the fall of 2009, when my husband’s father became ill with West Nile Encephalitis. While my husband was away helping to take care of his dad, I constantly found myself up in the middle of the night worrying.  When I couldn’t sleep, I stayed up reading frugal blogs (I’d been a couponer for years), and then considered starting a blog of my own.  At that time, I didn’t see many coupon blogs that frequently encouraged readers to give to local charities through their coupon savings, so I decided that was a place to start . . .

If you have a minute today, grab a cup of coffee and check it out. 🙂

Congratulations Laurie!! I am on Blogelina’s e-mail list and I saw the headline that you were the featured blogger!! I instantly knew I had to race over and read the interview. I feel such a connection to PPP because I really admire that your heart is so dedicated to helping others. Your blog helps people find great deals and introduces new craft projects (tried and true) and then you turn around and help others with half of the proceeds. I had known that since I started following PPP and it is a huge reason why I come back day, after day, after day!! Again, congratulations and wish you, your family and your blog all the best!
