Looking for more penny pinched recipes? Here you go!
I've never made London broil in the slow cooker (we've only grilled it a few times), but when I saw Publix had them on sale I knew I had to see if there was any easy way to cook it. Â After reading through the comments HERE, I couldn't wait to try out this recipe, and oh my goodness I'm so glad I did!
Menu Planning Note: You can also find this recipe in our Slow Cooker Menu Planning Made Easy Set!
My family loved it (seriously, loved it). And I loved it because it took precisely three minutes to prepare everything except the potatoes. It works out great with the London Broil sale at Publix this week and Aldi's great price on potatoes, so go ahead and pull Mrs. Potts out and let her do the cooking for you!

Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 packet brown gravy
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 packet italian dressing
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 London broil 2-3 lbs.

- Add seasoning packets and slightly rub them into the meat.
- Pour water around the meat in the slow cooker.

we like our meat medium rare, how does this meat come out for cooking 7 hours
Laurie says
It will definitely be cooked through Patricia – you may want to grill it if you’d prefer medium rare. Hope that helps!

This looks great! I have a similar recipe for pot roast that is absolutely the most very favorite thing I make; it’s chuck roast, a packet of au jus, a packet of Good Seasons, 1 can of condensed beef broth and half a soup can of water in the crock pot. So I am looking very forward to giving this a try!

I make a similar pot roast recipe (usually using a shoulder roast) and it tastes delicious too Shayelyn! I’m wondering if you could even just use these seasonings over a regular roast and it would probably be just perfect as well. Thanks so much for sharing!
