“Used them in a play kitchen up cycle for my kids!” -PPP Reader Brandi

“Perfect for an apartment that needed an update that was much needed!” -Dollar Tree customer online review

“I used these in my laundry room and covered about half the way up the wall. What a difference! Wall is slightly textured, so tiles needed a little extra adhesion. I used an old tube of Liquid Nails and put a dot in each corner before pressing it to the wall. Worked like a charm. These are very workable and you can bend them to get them around electrical sockets, etc. without damaging the tile. Looks like the real thing and you can’t beat the price!!” -Dollar Tree customer online review

“Tiles worked great. We alternated the times to create a pattern and it turned out great!” -Dollar Tree customer online review

“These are great for a temporary fix. I used them to cover up an existing ugly tile backsplash until we can put in our real tile backsplash. Will they last? I have no clue I just put them up. They do look great considering they are only $1. Just remember people they are only $1 and you get what you pay for!! They are cheap and flimsy. I used super glue to close the ends that I had to cut. So I would recommend for a temporary fix!!” -Dollar Tree customer online review

“We ordered these off Amazon. Start in the corners and work out. Once we got the hang of it went quick. We have to plaster walls, no additional adhesive needed. Love the look!” -PPP Reader Cassie

“We got ours on Amazon. Like someone else said – you can’t tell the difference b/w peel & stick and real tile by looking, but by touch yes. They’re good to use if you are undecided on a tile. We put them in our kitchen and so far so good but it’s only been a month.” -PPP Reader, Rodney

Our “getaway” cottage came with a serviceable refrigerator that worked fine, but was rusting and stained on the outside. I covered it with the white “planking” wall paper from Dollar Tree. Back when the sheets were $1 each it cost me under $20 and looked great. Our kids are grown, but it held up fine for two adults.

I would recommend searching on YouTube. Send us a picture if you do this! Would love to see a before and after. 🙂

Does anyone know or have first-hand experience with how they fare by the stove area? Are they hest resistant or would they melt/warp??

    • Debbie says

If you mean as a backsplash to your stove, I have had one up for two years. No issues. In fact, it is much easier to clean and wipe off grease and other splatters than just the wall. I only change mine out when I want a different design. I hope that helps you.

    • Vera Collier says

They are not heat resistant. I used one for a craft and when I used a heat gun to dry the paint I had applied to it, the tile just melted into a glob of plastic

  3. Tracy says

I saw a video where someone used tiles like these under their sinks instead of contact paper. She used a small amount of caulk where the tiles joined and said using the tiles instead of shelf liner made it waterproof if a leak occurred. She got her tiles off Amazon.

The backing paper falls off and is only sticky on one side. Fortunately I was able to glue them to my craft project.

    • Korinne says

I peeled off the paper backing and used gorilla double sided tape. I did my project February 2022 and they are sticking beautifully

  5. Cherie says

Where would we go online to find these patterns? The Dollar Trees by me only offer 2 or 3 different types. I would to find the one that has the word LOVE and other words in it that is shown on your website.
