Gifts for Sports Fans
If you’re shopping for a sports fan and need some ideas for gifts, check these out! They’re fun ideas and aren’t just another shirt to give them. Some of these will be specific to the type of sport or events they like to attend, so keep that in mind 🙂
Tickets to an event
This is a pretty easy one – but if you know that you’re shopping for someone who has a specific team they follow, consider getting them tickets! A few things to consider – if you do not know their schedule or when they’d be available for a game, consider getting a gift card that can be redeemed for tickets from the team store or a gift card for a third party service (ie – stubhub or seatgeek).
Hand Warmers or Heated Jacket
Even if the person you’re shopping for doesn’t go to outdoor sports DEEP in the winter, these items are good to have on hand for chilly spring or fall evenings. This is also a great gift idea if their KIDS are involved in sports. No freezing at the soccer field anymore!
Stadium Chair
Mary tried this brand out and loved the support it gave. This won’t work for many professional sports leagues, but if you are a sports family with younger kiddos playing, you know how valuable having one of these can be!
Branded items from Their Favorite Team
Think outside the box on this one! You don’t have to just get a shirt – think socks, keychains, jackets, gloves, beanies – SO many items you can choose from.
Travel Mug or Tumblers from their Favorite Team
A travel mug or a larger water bottle with their favorite team is a fun one. Combine it with a gift card and your shopping is done!
Clear Stadium Bag
This one is great to grab if you have someone that frequently goes to professional sporting events. MANY places have limitations on the sizing of bags now and will not let you bring a bag in period unless it is clear.
Sports Streaming Packages
Most professional sports leagues now have packages you can purchase to watch ALL the games. Some also include radio subscriptions – and since they are typically a decent amount, this would be a great idea for a gift for a sports fan!
