Looking for a break this summer from the sun? Here’s a list of movie theaters that will be offering free movies this summer, which might be a great way to pinch a few pennies and enjoy a movie on the cheap this summer!
Carmike Movies – Carmike theaters are offering $2 movies each week. See locations and movie schedule HERE.
Cinemark – Cinemark has movies for $1 each week, or watch ten summer movies for $1. Find locations and movie schedule HERE.
Clearview Cinemas – Clearview Cinemas has free movies for families on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 AM. Find Clearview Cinemas in your area HERE.
Great Escape – Great Escape offers movies at a discounted rate throughout the summer. The site states that some movies charge a “nominal fee”, so you’ll need to contact your local theater to find out what the price isat each store. Find the schedule HERE.
Marcus Theaters – Marcus Theaters offers kids $2 movies on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 10am from June 19th through August 16th. Find more information HERE. (Thanks, Suzanne!)
Monaco Theaters – Monaco Theaters offers free kids movies Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 AM. Find more information HERE.
Rave Motion Theaters – Rave Motion Theaters offers free kid’s movies each Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 AM. Find locations and movie schedule HERE.
Regal Cinemas – Regal Cinemas offers movies for $1 Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 10 AM. See locations and movie schedule HERE.

If you live in Utah you may want to check out the Kamas Movie theater (kamas-theater.com) They have free movies at 2pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

If it rains, there’s always http://essimi.com for free, no signup, no download, legal movies, and definitely check out their youtube link for tons more! Free=cheaper than netflix streaming.

Just FYI, the link for Cinemark hasn’t been updated for 2012 yet, it still says the 2011 summer program has ended. Hopefully they update it soon. Thanks for sharing!!
Is there an updated link for Cinemark? I get a screen saying to look here in the Spring of 2012 for the summer movies-appears to be from last summer.

Flagship Cinemas also offers camp flagship, a free g or pg movie 1- 3 days a week depending on the area
