What is a gyro?

A gyro sandwich usually has a pita bread crust along with some type of rotisserie meat and vegetables.  We’ve added greek flavors in ours!

How to make Chicken Gyros:

Gather up your ingredients and a saucepan and let’s make these gyros!

Mix your chicken and greek dressing together in a medium saucepan, and heat until warmed through.

While that is cooking, grate your cucumber.  Be sure to squeeze out any excess moisture from the cucumbers with your hands.  Then grab a small bowl and mix together the cucumber and ingredients for the homemade tzatziki sauce.

Warm your pita bread in the microwave for about 20 seconds, and then build your gyro.  Add in shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, and chicken, and then drizzle with the tzatziki sauce and feta cheese. Fold in half and enjoy!
