I asked my kids for this last year and I wear it ALL the time when I go out in the cold – sometimes in my own house when I’m chilly just because it’s so cozy!  I think it’s cute and the pompom stays put where it’s supposed to.  The thick knit is great-looking and has stood the test of time over this last year.
