4 Dollar Tree Christmas Tree Gifting Ideas (SO CUTE!)

Have you been to the Dollar Tree lately? Last year, I was able to snag this tiny little Dollar Tree Christmas Tree for just $1 – and when I pulled it out this year I started thinking of all the ways you could use this little tree as a gift holder…  I tried to grab some more at the Dollar Tree online and they were out 🙁  But you can order an inexpensive tree here or or here – or check your local thrift store!

While these little trees have been hard to find the last couple years at the Dollar tree, we did spot them for around $5 at the Target dollar spot this time around!

Once you find an inexpensive little mini tree – you can use it to make any of these Dollar Tree Christmas Tree Gifting Ideas. 🙂

Gift Card Tree

Need a fun way to gift several gift cards to a teacher, teen, college kid (or anyone else?)  Just use tiny clothes pins (I found mine at Dollar Tree) to clip the giftcards to the tree.

Easy peasy!

Coupon Tree

Instead of making a booklet of coupons for items like a free massage, free car wash, free evening without the kids, etc…. make a coupon tree!  Write up different kinds of coupons for ways you will help them and roll them up and tie with twine.  Then tie each little scroll to a different branch.  So fun – and free!

Nursing Home Tree

If you have an older relative or friend in a nursing home – a sweet little tree will be a cheerful addition to their room.  Fill it with items they can use like fuzzy socks, lotion, lip balm, cough drops, nail polish, candies and tissues.

A set of Christmas-themed earrings or necklace will also make them feel festive at any kind of holiday gathering they might attend at the home.

Scratch Off Tree

This one was suggested to me by a reader while I was doing a Facebook Live last week – but I thought it was actually kind of genius for my dad!  Purchase a few scratch off cards and use clothes pins or twin to place them on the tree.  This is especially fun for a guy in your family who doesn’t need/want ANYTHING – but might find this fun 🙂

NOTE: This is just a fun idea for someone who you really just don’t know what to buy for – but of course, make sure it’s not someone who struggles with gambling in any way!
