In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until bacon is fully rendered and crispy.
Add onions, and sauté until translucent.
Lightly spray slow cooker with cooking spray, and add green beans. Stir in bacon mixture and diced potatoes. Add chicken broth and desired amount of salt and pepper.
Cover, and cook on low 6 hours or on high 3-4 hours or until green beans reach desired level of tenderness.
Serve immediately.
