yellow onion, sliced

stalks celery, sliced

Instructions
Place all ingredients except cornstarch in slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.
Mix together cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water and add to slow cooker; stir well. Cover and cook another 30 minutes.
Notes
To turn this recipe into a freezer meal follow these instructions:
Place all ingredients except cornstarch in a gallon size zip-top bag. Label and freeze.
When ready to cook, thaw in refrigerator overnight.
Place contents of bag in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.
Mix together cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water and add to slow cooker; stir well. Cover and cook another 30 minutes.
