Divide ground chuck into 6 patties. Sprinkle patties with salt and pepper.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Place burgers onto grill. Cover with grill lid, and grill 4-5 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Top with cheese during the last minute of cooking.
Meanwhile, heat bacon according to package directions.
Top each of 6 lettuce leaves with a hamburger patty, 2 pieces of bacon, and tomato slices. Cover with remaining lettuce leaves to serve.
