One-Dish Cheeseburger Macaroni

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 large yellow onion, diced
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni pasta, uncooked
  • 3 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 tsp prepared mustard
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 green onions, diced

Instructions

  • In large skillet, cook beef and onions over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain.
  • Combine pasta, broth, milk, ketchup, steak seasoning, and mustard; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10-15minutes, uncovered, until pasta is tender. Stir in cheese until melted.
  • To serve, garnish with green onions, if desired.
