Homemade Barbecue Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1-2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce or more if you like it really spicy!
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp ground mustard
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsps honey
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice optional

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container.
