Ingredients
2 lb boneless top sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
3 Tbsps low-sodium soy sauce
½ tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 bell peppers, any color, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 medium red onions, cut into small wedges
2 cups pineapple chunks
Instructions
Combine steak, soy sauce and garlic powder in a large zip-top bag. Seal and refrigerate 30 minutes, turning once.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove steak from marinade and discard marinade.
In a large bowl, place bell peppers and onion then toss with olive oil.
Alternately thread beef, bell peppers, onion and pineapple onto metal or bamboo skewers; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place skewers on a grill rack rubbed with olive oil. Grill 6-8 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
Notes
If using bamboo skewers, soak in water at least 20-30 minutes to prevent burning.
