Mix apples, cinnamon, and sugar and place in the slow cooker.
Add water and lemon juice.
Cook on low 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally and mashing with a fork depending on how “mashed” you want them to be. My slow cooker cooks very quickly and mine were just about ready at 3 hours, so I turned them to the “warming” option on my slow cooker and let them cook another 2 hours.
Serve warm or cold – yum!
