You all know I love my crockpot, and here's a super easy recipe my friend Shannon sent me that works great with the sale items this week! I've done a similar one on my stove top, but this will be even easier because you can pop it all in your crock pot in the morning and come home to the yummy smell of dinner ready to serve. Here's what you'll need:
2-3 lb. Pot Roast
On Sale $2.99/lb., be sure to look for one with as little fat as possible
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
Publix brand probably cheapest – $.75 per can
1 1/2 pouches of lipton soup mix
Use $.55/2 from Multiply Your Meal Savings Publix Booklet or use Publix brand, $1.15
1/2 cup milk
Trim fat from roast and place in crock pot. Mix last five ingredients. Pour over Pot Roast in crock pot. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve and enjoy!
Serve with . . .
Stockpiled Steamers or Birdseye:)
5 lb. bag on sale $2.49/lb., don't forget to go HERE and sign up at Klondike Brands and get a BOGO coupon for Green Giant Potatoes (if they're included in sale!) sent directly to your inbox!
And to make it even a little easier (if it could get any easier . . .), pick up some Reynolds Crockpot Liners with $1/1 coupon HERE or from 1/31 SS. Shannon says these are awesome, and I bet they would make your cleanup a snap!
