I frantically ordered my daughter's Easter dresses at the end of last week (yikes!), and the company that I purchased from couldn't monogram the dresses and guarantee delivery in time for Easter . . . ughhhh!
So, this week as I was trying to figure out what to do (the dresses were cute without the monogram, but there's just something about a monogram that makes them loook so sweet!), I remembered seeing iron on monograms at Hobby Lobby. Guess what . . . they worked! 🙂 They're not perfect (and I'm not sure that they'll stick on permanently. . . ), but in a pinch, I'm pretty happy with them. Each letter is priced between $.99 and $2.19, so for less than $6 I had monograms for both girl's dresses.
There's not much to do on this project but here's a super quick tutorial:
Make sure dress is free of wrinkles.
Place monogram where you want, and iron it on for 30 seconds on each side! They do recommend using a thin layer of fabric so as not to damage your fabric, but I ended up ironing it directly to the fabric (make sure you test it first though, you wouldn't want to ruin a dress!)
Here's my sweet Caroline trying on her dress this morning . . .
Do you have your family's Easter clothes all ready? (My kids are going to look fantastic, but I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing the same dress I've worn for the last few years!) 🙂 Check out more of my favorite fluffing up ideas over on Pinterest!

Where did you order their dresses from? They are adorable! Thanks for the tip about the monograms…….I’ve never seen them available in the stores!
Thans Carin! They were from OrientExpressed.com – it’s one of my few splurges for Christmas and Easter, and I did have a coupon code 🙂
