This might just be the most pitiful Friday Fluff Up ever, but I'm trying to enjoy my last few months of having a preschooler home, and promise next year when she's in school with her big brother & sister I'll get incredibly crafty! (Okay, not really, but surely I'll catch up a wee bit on life. . . )
I decided to do a super quick fluffing up in our bathroom this week, as it's not one of those rooms I've ever done much in. I like the paint color, am even happy with my bargain chair from Kirkland's and super cute rug deal that I got at the coolest rug store in Scottsboro, Alabama (I should have taken a picture of that!), but the countertops just had our stuff kind of thrown every which way with no order. (I usually do clean them up daily, but yesterday the stuff didn't even get put away!) I splurged on a $10 basket at Hobby Lobby (have I mentioned lately I love that place?) and was motivated to do a little cleaning. Here's the before picture . . . (I really should at least clean up for these pictures, because *most* days I do at least have the toothpaste put away!)
And here's the after . . .
I also spent a few minutes cleaning out the drawers (gross!) These . . .
now look like this . . .
I counted exactly SEVENTEEN toothbrushes in my drawers that apparently my kids have gone through and never thrown away. Goodness, gracious ~ it feels so good to be down to just the ones we use!
So, while it isn't any spectacular changes, it is better, and cost only $10 plus a little time to finish up. I guess I'll take that! Now . . . off to enjoy lunch and some Target shopping with my cute girl. (Hope you're doing something fun today too!) 🙂

My Friday Fluff Up… my dishwasher has become a little odiferous so I decided to run an empty load with some vinegar. I have never done this before so I looked up a few pages to figure out how to do it. So I thought that the best way would be to put a cup of vinegar in the top rack and turn on the hottest setting. Then I thought about how I put baking soda and vinegar in my drains to make them smell better. So I sprinkled maybe a half cup of BS in the bottom. I have a stainless tub in my dishwasher and it came out spotless and fresh. YAY!!
I’ve been wanting to try that as a five minute challenge Stephanie, and wondering if it worked! I’m going to add it to my to-do list this weekend…. thanks so much for sharing! 🙂
