When I was working last month on our 25 Days of Paint Project Series, it occurred to me that some of these may seem daunting if you're in a rental, or in a place where you don't want to make a major change. Back when we lived in our very first tee-tiny apartment I hated the thought of not doing any decorating, but knew that the only transformations I could make would have to be temporary!
So, I picked up some contact paper, wallpapered our itty bitty kitchen in blue checkered contact paper, and prayed that entire first year that the contact paper would easily peel off when I needed it to. (Thank heavens, it peeled right away! I won't officially recommend you do that, but it did work for me.) 🙂
So, for the next 25 days I thought it would be fun to hunt down 25 (penny pinched) temporary home updates to make a rental or even a new home just a little more appealing. I'd love to hear if you have any ideas to be added to the list!
Ready for today's transformation? (I love this one!) See how The Pretty Life Girls transformed a plain kitchen backsplash with some liquid starch and fabric. Brilliant!
