Shannon’s CVS Trip: 22 Items Paid Tax Only

Here’s what I grabbed at CVS this week!  I love, love shopping the Thanksgiving ad at CVS. 🙂

My CVS was out of a few freebies, but I still got so many deals.  I did this in three transactions, and the cashier used one of my coupons accidentally in my second transaction but I didn't get them so I just bought them on the third transaction without the coupon.

And I totally splurged on the Bounty paper towels because I really love them. 🙂

Transaction #1

Buy 1 Advil (40 – 50 ct) – $5.99
Buy 1 Colgate Toothpaste (3 – 6 oz) – $2.99
Buy 1 Mars Chocolate, Airheads or Mentos Singles (1 -2 oz) – $0.79
Buy 1 CVS Cleansing Wipes (20 ct) – $0.99
Buy 2 Green Giant Canned Vegetables – $0.99

• Used $2.50 Colgate coupon printing from the CVS machine
• Used $.50/2 Green Giant printable
• Used (3) $1/1 Gold Emblem Snack Items recent printable
• Used $9 ECBs from last week
• Paid $1.40 out of pocket, Got $9.25 in ECBS

Transaction #2

Bought 1 Extra Gum – $0.99
Bought 1 Stride Gum – $0.99
Bought 4 Revlon Nail Polish – $4.99

• Used (3) B1G1 Revlon coupons recent printables
• Used $3/1 Revlon CVS Coupon (printed last week)
• Used $3.79 ECBs from transaction #1
• Paid $2.15 out of pocket, Got $13.98 in ECBS

Transaction #3

Bought 2 Revlon Nail Polishes – $4.99
Bought 2 Bounty Paper Towels (3 pk) – $4.99

• Used $1/2 coupon from the 11/1 P&G insert
• Used $15.48 ECBs from transaction #1 and #2
• Paid $2.21 out of pocket, Got $9 ECBs and have $0.99 ECBs from transaction #1

I paid $5.76 (tax only) out of pocket, and gained $0.99 in Extra Care Bucks.  All in all that means I spent $4.77 for 24 items after coupons and ECBs ~ not bad for some great donation items and Bounty Paper Towels!
