I had to show this picture to you all of my fun Publix trip today. I saw over on I Heart Publix this great money maker scenario when you buy two Phazyme. So here's what I bought:
1 gallon milk (the only thing I needed)
2 Chinet napkins (BOGO Rain Check from last weeks sale)
2 8 ct. Phazyme's
1 Crisco Vegetable Oil (BOGO)
1 Sara Lee Pound Cake (BOGO – make sure to pick one up for a cute cake later this week!)
I used these coupons:
2 $1/1 Chinet napkins
2 $2/2 Phazyme Publix coupons from Winter Savings Booklet
1 $7/2 Phazyme coupon from 10/11 Red Plum
1 $1/1 Crisco Vegetable Oil from 11/8 Red Plum
1 $1/1 Sara Lee Pound Cake (use coupon $1/1 PRINT or from Winter Savings Booklet)
My total was $.75 before tax (the taxes cost me $1.22!), so my total with tax was $1.97, not bad when you consider the milk alone was $2.79!
It wasn't until I got home that I saw what Phazyme actually was – for those of you who don't know (like me!), it's to treat gas! My hubby couldn't believe I bought it just to get the deal, but at least we'll always be prepared! Have you found any great deals this week at Publix?
Note – My cashier allowed me to use the two Phazyme store coupons as well as the Manufacturer coupon from Red Plum. It's possible that your cashier may only allow you to use one store coupon per transaction, but it would still be a $2 money maker when combined with the manufacturer coupon.
