Have you made your menu plan yet for the week? I spent the weekend with just my favorite ten year old (my husband took our other two kiddos to visit his parents), and while you would think all that time with only one child would put me ahead for the week, I'm still way behind! We shopped (a lot), had cereal for dinner while watching “Love It or List It” (our absolute favorite show), and stayed as far away from the kitchen as possible.
Apparently taking the weekend off just has thrown me for a loop though, so now I'm scrambling to throw together a menu plan! Here's what I'm thinking . . .
- Monday – Ritz Chicken with Mashed Potatoes (similar to this Crispy Cheddar Chicken)
- Tuesday – Something in the slow cooker (I'm thinking these Slow Cooker Sloppy Joe's or Slow Cooker Macaroni & Cheese maybe?)
- Wednesday – Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup
- Thursday – Leftovers
- Friday – Pizza (Homemade or Digiorno – we'll see how things look by Friday night) 😉
