Here’s a peek at what’s in my Stitch Fix Box this month! Go HERE to get your box.
I'll be honest, while I LOVED just about everything in my box this month, I didn't love the fit of a few of the tops, so sent three of the five items back.
If you're a busy working mom (especially in the corporate world), I think Stitch Fix is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY, because the items really do look great and fit (for the most part!) so well too.
But, the items are pricey, so you're definitely paying for the convenience of having someone shop and fit you here. (That being said, I'm amazed at how well most of the items do fit and how cute they look ~ it takes me hours to shop for close so I love the convenience of it all!)
Remember though that if you keep the whole box you save 25% on the entire box, which is a pretty hefty savings if you like most of the items in the box. You also get your $20 styling fee back towards any items that you keep, so that helps drop the price a bit to!
Here's a peek at what I got this month . . .
Super cute earrings $28 – $21 if I keep the whole box and get the 25% off entire box discount
KEPT THESE ~ I really did love them and don't own a single pair of earrings that aren't plain hoops! 🙂
PERFECT Black Liverpool Super Skinny Jeans $78 – $58.50 if I keep the whole box and get the 25% off entire box discount
KEPT THESE 🙂 (this is a similar pair for $79, so I guess that's pretty reasonable? And they FIT SO WELL!)
Heartloom Daranta Crochet Detail Top $64 ~ $48 if I keep the whole box and get the 25% off entire box discount
RETURNED – just too short for me and I didn't like the way it had a slit in the back
Fun 2 Fun Witucky Halter Top $44 ~ $33 if I keep the whole box and get the 25% off entire box discount
RETURNED – SO SO SO cute but still a little short for me and I knew I wouldn't wear it
Aunook Twist Knot Top $48 ~ $36 if I keep the whole box and get the 25% off entire box discount
RETURNED ~ I didn't love the back at all and felt like it looked like a maternity top – eek!
My necklace was from a few months ago in my Stitch Fix box ~ I love that one!
So my total cost this month after my $20 Stitch Fix Styling Credit was $93.42 ~ I know I could have found jeans and earrings cheaper, but the jeans really do fit amazingly well, and the earrings are perfect. For me (during this crazy busy season of my life!), the price was totally worth it.
My overall thoughts on Stitch Fix?
I do absolutely love though how easy this process is ~ just put in your style profile, share what types of clothes you like, how things fit, and share an idea of what I’m looking for on my profile. I also include a link to my “cute outfits” board on Pinterest, so my stylist has a pretty good idea of what I love.
I think it definitely can be an awesome resource (especially for finding great pants – I have loved every pair of pants they've sent!), and if you struggle with finding cute trendy clothes that fit well, Stitch Fix is so worth it.
Whew!
If you dress up frequently for work and don’t have time to shop, I really think Stitch Fix can be a fantastic option (I have loved my previous boxes, and the quality of clothing is much nicer than what I normally wear), so it may be a great option for you.
It also is fantastic for busy working moms – while I do think the pricing is high you're paying not only for the clothing but also for someone to look at your needs and hand pick items that often can work for you.
