I'm telling you what, I've been so pleased with my Aldi's trips lately! During the school year I usually price matched the Aldi's ad at Walmart (because I shopped early in the morning before Aldi opened), but the last few weeks I've shopped Aldi's and been so pleased with their produce. My kids are gobbling it down, and we've gone through tons of fresh fruit the last few weeks! Here's what I bought:
- 2 lb Grapes $.99/lb. (stock up price!)
- 4 packs Strawberries $.99 each
- 2 lb. Bananas $.44/lb.
- 1 dozen eggs $.99
- Total = $7.51
If you have an Aldi in your area it's definitely worth stopping by to check out their produce prices, or you can try price matching the Aldi ad at your local Walmart. Since coupons for fresh fruit don't come around all that often (although you can get free grapes at Earth Fare this week), I'm loving having a way to easily save on my kids favorite snacks!

I’m starting to make a weekly stop at aldi for a few things no other store can beat like blueberries 119 at my aldi and strawberries and milk but our egg prices are 149 here which is just average our aldi is becoming very crowded too I guess people are catching on .
I definitely think more and more people are shopping there ~ the produce prices are so good it’s worth stopping by once a week for sure! Eggs for $1.49 is definitely high for Aldi, but I think they’re $1.69 at our local grocery store. Love having the option of Aldi and hopefully they’ll continue to bring in lower prices!
