My Sweet Caroline is turning SEVEN on Saturday! We are having quite a few little girls over for her “Fancy Nancy” party, and I've been racking my brain as to what on earth I could feed that bunch. Well, as I looked over the weekly sale ad (for the 8000th time!) I noticed there are pizza crusts on sale – how lucky am I? So, here's a quick easy dinner for your little family (and my little crowd), that should be pretty cheap with all the sale deals this week!
Mama Mia's Pizza Crust BOGO $3.69 (Pack of 3)
Look for $.35/1 Peelie
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
Hunt's Canned Tomatoes or Tomato Sauce BOGO $1.89, Use Free Canned tomatoes when you buy 2 Hunt's Canned Tomato Sauce 1/24 SS or $1/4, $.30/1, $.45/3 from 1/24 SS, $1/3 HERE, or Muir Glen Deal HERE
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
$1/1 Any Muir Glen Product HERE
1 tablespoon ground oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons dried minced garlic
8 oz. mozzarella
$.35/1, $.55/1, $.75/1 or $1/2 Hormel Pepperoni from 1/24 SS
In small bowl combine tomato paste and tomato sauce, stir until smooth. Stir in seasonings. Top pizza crusts with toppings as desired, bake according to package. Does it get any easier than that? Enjoy!
If you really want to impress your kids and hubby, try out Tammy's Italian Cheese Bread HERE – I use those directions but change the toppings for pizza. It's super yummy, but I don't think we'll have time for it this week! You could also use Pillsbury Pizza Dough from Italian Sale – just a few more options!
