Homemade Cleaning Products

In lieu of a Friday Fluff Up this week (I’m still reeling back from Christmas and haven’t even gotten near making anything fun this week . . . ) here are a few simple homemade cleaning products that might help you pinch those pennies this year! While I love a coupon deal on convenient cleaners, making your own cleaner using what you already have at home can often help really change your grocery budget. Check these out:

  1. The best, easiest, and fastest way to clean the oven is with baking soda and white vinegar. Just sprinkle a little baking soda in the bottom of the oven on troubled areas then spray a little white vinegar (not too much! just enough for a reaction) let it bubble and foam for a little while then wipe clean. On a problem area you may need to scrub a little, but after a few minutes most of it will wipe clean! I’m usually done in under 15 minutes!

    • I’ve got to try that Angela! I was just thinking that I needed to work on mine, so maybe I’ll add that for the weekend. Thanks for the tip!

  2. I did the soap scum remover with Palmolive dish detergent – and it still worked! That was amazing! Thank you so much for sharing. I did one bathroom, but I’m motivated to make the others sparkle now!
