Yesterday our family ran around between three basketball games, baseball tryouts, and a little Valentine Party last night, so I didn't step near my computer. Well, after a bit of a rough night last night, I'm back in Nashville in a hospital waiting room, continuing to pray for my father-in-law, while giving my mother-in-law a little time off to rest (my hubby and I and his sisters' families take turns coming to visit).
As many of you know he's had a rough six months since contracting West Nile encephalitis last September. He was a very healthy, active man prior to this, but last night he was put back on a ventilator for probably the fourth time since September, and was transferred to a critical care unit. I may share some deals today (as I'm sitting here I might as well enjoy the day off from my busy kiddos!), but if you have a minute I'd really appreciate if you could send up a quick prayer for my father-in-law, Don, and all our family as we're feeling pretty worn down. He's a wonderful man and we feel so very blessed to have him; and we so badly want him around to watch our kids grow up. Sorry to share this personal request, but I wanted to share with you what's on my heart this Valentine's Day!
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
