Yesterday I received a fabulous tip from Patti about organizing her coupons. Patti clips all her coupons and attaches them to her grocery list with a clothespin (what a good idea!) But what I love is that she uses an envelope from all the credit card offers she receives to stash her coupons in! What a great way to pinch a penny!
I see so many couponers who spend oodles of money on fancy binders, envelopes, scissors, etc. to start couponing, and it breaks my heart because there are ways to even coupon “on-the-cheap”. I love resourceful ways to snag good deals even as we coupon. (I love Patti's idea and will start snagging those envelopes before I throw away those credit card requests!) Shutterfly messed up my Christmas pictures two years ago so I've been using those those envelopes, but I'm just about out!
Do you have any other frugal tips on how to save money even as you coupon? I'd love to hear them, so leave a comment to share!
