Five Minute Challenge: One Area That’s Overwhelming You

Do you have one area in your home that just makes your stomach a wee bit queasy? 😉  (I wish I only had one!)  Today, hop away from that computer and spend just five minutes tackling it . . . and then see if you’re not motivated to keep right on going!

I tackled the play room today at our house (I usually just try not to go in there . . . ) and am amazed at how much more I accomplished than I expected in right around fifteen minutes.  I promise it’ll feel so good to have a little part of your mess tidied up a bit!

I’d love to hear which area you choose in your home . . . Ready, set, goooooo!

When you comment on any of this week’s five minute challenge posts, you’ll be entered to win a $10 Amazon Gift Card. (I’ll pick one lucky winner each Friday night.)  So, hurry and get to work for just five minutes, then come back here and let me know how it went!

Do you know an unique cleaning tips? I’d love to hear them! Leave a comment to share those too . . . I’m always looking for new ideas. See previous five minute challenges.

  1. Perhaps I am lucky or even more blessed than I realize. I acually do not have a room I loath. At times my garage will frustrate me. But, my husband has been doing very well keeping it clleaned amd organized as of lately.

    • You are definitely lucky and blessed …. I wish I could be that organized Sherri! Good job!!! 🙂 (And wow, even having your hubby on top of the garage is HUGE ~ I’d love for my husband to tackle that one this weekend……)

  2. I am working on my youngest’s room – his closet became a catch all for everything somehow! Slowly…but it is getting organized.

  3. I tackled an area in the living room with some packages I needed to pack and address and mailout, not exactly cleaning but it did get rid of a few piles!

  4. If I had one place, it would be the kitchen, because I spend a lot of time there 🙂 Mine’s pretty clean now, and it stays clean when I take care of each day’s dishes that day!

  5. I swept and organized my garage. Took a little bit of time, but it looks great!

  6. My gift wrap & present closet! Sorted, purged & organized!

  7. I took on the bathroom mirror and the light fixtures over the mirror. They look much better without the hairspray stickiness and dust.

  8. It took 3 hours to do it all, but my mom’s kitchen is now organized with the cabinets cleaned inside and out!

  9. The computer room, ugh! Such a huge task but good to accomplish
