Five Minute Challenge: Cleaning Out The Pantry To Give Abundantly (Day Three)

I received such an encouraging email from a reader this morning who found several items in her stockpile to donate to friends who are traveling to Swaziland this summer on a mission trip.  It absolutely made my day to see how Cheryl was able to give thanks to coupons, and she said that everything in the picture below was priced at $1 or less after coupons. (Yayyyy!)

Have you been cleaning out your pantry this week to donate a few items to Couponing for Community?  I’d absolutely love to hear how you’re giving!  If you have just five minutes today, tidy up all the sauces, seasoning mixes, pastas, and canned meats to see if you have just an item or two you can donate this week.

You can also visit the Couponing for Community Facebook page to enter your totals, and I’d love for you to leave a comment to share how you’re giving!  (You can also send me an email with your pictures too at contact @ passionatepenny, leave out spaces.  I’d love to share them with everyone!)

  1. Hi Laurie,
I found the New Kelloggs Krave cereal on sale this week at the Sparkman Dr. Walmart in Huntsville. It was marked down to $1. There was a printable .70/1 Coupon on both and We have 4 computers so I was able to go to the store and get 16 boxes for $4.80. What was awesome was when I got there each box had a coupon on the back for $1/2 more boxes! I was able to go right back in and purchase 32 more boxes for .50 each! We were able to donate almost 50 boxes of cereal and didn’t even spend $20. Also, my sons got a good laugh at me standing in Walmarts parking lot cutting coupons off the back of the boxes of cereal! 😉

    • WOW! I love that Jen ~ what a fantastic find, and a crazy great way to donate! Thanks so much for sharing, that made my morning. 🙂
